About the Foundation House

Welcome to The Foundation House where we combine Charities from all over the world with the individuals in need and those seeking to help. We are a 501c3 non profit organization designed to make the right connections for the right people through simple, everyday actions. When you find yourself in crisis you can click through our website and find the charity in your area that will help you get the assistance you need. If you are someone looking for ways to serve others, the Foundation House will get you in contact with those charities that will most effectively use your unique skills and gifts. We also combine charities who, through common efforts and synergistic behaviors, can do so much more.

The Foundation House is about so much more than just providing necessary resources-it is about the issues that relate to our world. It is about making a sick child smile, finding cures, caring for the world in which we live, keeping music education in our schools, or building a community that helps one another. Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed individuals that want to change the world. Indeed, in history, it is the only thing that ever has.

Connections are what The Foundation House is all about. Donors can find charities, charities can find other charities, volunteers can find places to serve, and individuals in need can find the help they deserve. It's connecting the right people, with the right Charities, with the right resources to benefit our neighborhoods, our communities, and our world. The Foundation House is a "switch", a "connection," a "trigger" that allows the right people to find the right place that enables people to succeed.

Mission of the Foundation House

The purpose of the Foundation House is two fold. First, It was created to meet the needs of individuals-both those individuals who find themselves in a crisis seeking for help, and those individuals that desire to volunteer their time or talents to making the world a better place. Second, the Foundation House meets the needs of charitable organizations by providing needed resources and volunteers and providing whatever necessary assistance to ensure the success of the charitable organization.

The Library of Charities

Historically, charities have been protective of their volunteers and funds. There are limited resources and who wants to lose what they have. Now they don't have to. They can synergistically do more without losing anything at all. They actually gain more volunteers, have easier access to finding funds and resources, and a knowledge that they are not working alone. It is an opportunity for individual charities to apply the concept of synergism-when you have two or more people or organizations working together in a spirit of unity, harmony and cooperation, you find that a power develops that's greater than the sum of what individuals or separate organizations can provide to a cause or a project.

A common sharing of information can avoid the unnecessary duplication of charitable processes. Charities are popping up all over the place duplicating something that is already out there simply because they were not able to find what they needed when they needed it. The Library of Charities within the Foundation House brings together a wide wealth of organizations that can help individuals find exactly the help they need during a crisis, and allows Charities to work together more closely, thus providing more help collectively then they would apart.
